Wyck Summer Camp

Native American Life August 1-5
Have you ever wondered what life was like for Native Americans? Come
on a weeklong adventure with us and learn about Native American life,
games, and toys. Fun activities this week include making your own bow
and arrow, beading, pottery, face paintng, and building structures.



Colonial Kids August 8-12
What was it like to be kid in Colonial Philadelphia? During this week,
we’ll explore what it was like to grow up during this time. Activities
include playing with early American toys, such as stilts and potato sacks,
and making our own! Other awesome projects include making jam and
tea, whittling soap, and tying knots.



During both weeks, we will learn about growing food before the days of
supermarkets. We will explore Wyck’s vegetable farm and herb garden,
and learn about keeping chickens and honey bee hives.
