Homeschool Program

Bartram's Garden

January's theme is "Stitches." Technology has changed since the 1700s, but there are some things that can still be made by hand. Explore some of the tools, materials and techniques people use for making textiles by hand: spinning, knitting, weaving and sewing.

Homeschoolers Days is designed for homeschooled children, ages 5-13, with age-appropriate lessons and fun opportunities for group interaction. Reservations are required.


Due to popular demand, in 2012 lessons will be offered at 10 am and then repeated again at 1 pm.
