How Our Gardens Change

Mt. Cuba Center

Fri, Apr 20, 2012 - Fri Jun 22, 2012, 10am - 12noon

Tickets: $20 per session

Instructor: Gregg Tepper, Mt. Cuba Center

The garden is magical as one display fades and another appears. This three-part lecture and garden walk series gives students a chance to experience seasonal change across a three-month window in Mt. Cuba Center’s Woods Path and Sunny Border gardens. Our Director of Horticulture, Gregg Tepper, will share ideas and hints for effective displays that withstand the test of time and explain the intriguing garden transformations possible across the changing seasons. Cut-leaf toothwort (Cardamine concatenata) The toothwort is a spring ephemeral that grows from fleshy rhizomes whose ridges look like teeth.
