Pruning Shrubs for Maximum Health and Beauty: A Hands-on Class

Horticulturist, Morris Arboretum
Shrubs require special pruning techniques. Learn when to prune for maximum bloom and fruit set, and how to rejuvenate overgrown flowering shrubs. We will review techniques for maintaining a thick, vigorous hedge. After the morning lecture and demonstration, the afternoon will feature supervised, hands-on pruning. Please bring pruning tools for the afternoon session. This course carries 5.5 CEUs for ISA certified arborists.
